A solid, distinctive, and well-made "high" rye. However, I think the story of how this product comes to be is something worthy of some attention.

Do you want to know a secret? Mellow Corn might be the absolute best spirit bargain out there. It's so surprising and so cheap that you might as well pick up a bottle even if you don't drink whisky. Overall Rating: ★★★
It's close to a bourbon, but not quite: it's a wheat whiskey. There aren't many of them, and if Bernheim is representative of the category, it's a shame there aren't more. Overall Rating: ★★☆
